Our History

Founded in 1983, the Society of Seniors is home to the finest senior amateur golfers in the world. SOS tournaments are played at scratch and provide strong competition on the finest courses. The 883 members of the SOS include every living U.S. Senior Amateur Champion, numerous Walker Cup players and captains, and former U.S. Amateur, U.S. Mid-Amateur, British Amateur and British Senior Amateur Champions.
