NAPA VALLEY, Calif. – Round two was played on the South Course at Silverado Resort on a cloudy day that got off to a chilly start. Scoring conditions proved to be a challenge, as there were just three scores at even-par or better. The round of the day belonged to Kevin VandenBerg, Pulaski, NY, who posted the lone red number of the day at two-under par 70 to get back to even for the tournament. He now leads the Senior division by three strokes over Stephen Maddalena, Jackson, MI.
Todd Palmaer, Carmel, CA, leads the Super Senior division by one stroke over Richard Kerper, Oldsmar, FL. Palmaer stands at 145 (+1) through two rounds.
Michael Jonson, Sammamish, WA, leads the Legend division at 146 (+2) and holds a two-stroke advantage over Mark Weston, Windermere, FL.
In the Super Legend division, Michael Mahoney, La Jolla, CA, leads the pack at 146 (+2), while Sam Robinson, Jacksonville Beach, FL, is in second place.
