RESULTS: 43rd Dale Morey Championship
PALM HARBOR, Fla. – Round two of competition is complete at Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead Course. Tuesday provided a bit stronger test as temperatures stayed in the high 70s with some wind gusts around 15-20mph.
The day began with four players tied at even par in the Senior division, and after the dust settled, two players now share the lead at two-over. David Glabicki, Cary, NC, and Michael Anderson, Novi, MI, are tied for first, while regular challengers Kevin VandenBerg, Pulaski, NY, and Craig Hurlbert, The Woodlands, TX, sit just one stroke behind at +3.
Stevie Cannady, Pooler, GA, and Bob Beck, Allentown, PA, are locked at one-over on top of the Super Senior division. Mel Collins, Long Beach, CA, is in third place at +3.
Don Donatoni, West Chester, PA, fired a second consecutive round of one-under par 70 and leads the Legend division by three strokes over Mark Weston, Windermere, FL. Donatoni had the only under par round on Tuesday and is the lone player under par through two rounds on the challenging Larry Packard design.
Jack Marin, Durham, NC, maintained his lead in the Super Legend division as he sits at four-over and is ahead by one stroke over Pete Allen, Southport, NC.
