RESULTS: 2026 Senior Masters Tournament
INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – The competition is heating up in the desert after two rounds at Indian Wells Resort. Competing on the Celebrity Course in round two, birdies were flying early and often as several players worked their way up the leaderboard. Across all divisions, there were 22 rounds of par or better, with 16 of those in red figures, including five rounds in the 60s.
Rick Stimmel (Pittsburgh, PA) leads the Senior division by two strokes over defending champion Bryan Hoops (Tempe, AZ). Stimmel carded four birdies on his inward nine today and has posted rounds of 68-69 to sit at 6-under for the event. Hoops made a move today with 4-under 68 after an even par opening round. John Bearrie (Hollsopple, PA) is in third place at 2-under after rounds of 68-73.
It’s a horserace in the Super Senior division as we have a three-way tie at 1-under par between Allen Peake (Macon, GA), James Pearson (Charlotte, NC) and Larry Nunez (Plano, TX). Pearson made the biggest move of the day with a second round 4-under 68, while Nunez and Peake posted 71 and 72, respectively.
Michael Jonson (Sammamish, WA) continues to lead the Legend division by one stroke over Evan Long (Charlotte, NC). Jonson has posted rounds of 72-72 for a 1-over total of 144. Long is just a stroke back while Mark Weston (Windermere, FL) and Larry Daniels (Bremerton, WA) share third at 5-over.
Finally in the Super Legend division, Bruce Richards (Seattle, WA) leads by two over Greg Mokler (Timnath, CO). Richards is 6-over for the event after posting rounds of 76-73. Richard Hunt (Bixby, OK) and Phillip Anamizu (Honolulu, HI) share third place at 9-over.
Congratulations to Gary Koprivica (Missoula, MT) on his hole-in-one on hole 12 on the Players Course on Thursday.
The final round will be played on the Celebrity Course with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start.
