John Brellenthin (putting) and Tim Peterson

LIVE SCORING

PALM CITY, Fla. – Round two is in the books at the 39th Ed Tutwiler Four-Ball hosted by The Cape Club of Palm City in Palm City, Fla.  More sunny skies and a light breeze provided some optimal scoring conditions, but the tricky greens at The Cape Club kept anyone from taking it really deep.  John Brellenthin (Dallas, Texas) and Tim Peterson (Forest Lake, Minn.) extended their lead to three strokes over the field thanks to another solid round of 67 on Wednesday.  The leaders sit at 10-under par for the tournament through two rounds, and have made 12 birdies and an eagle thus far.

Three teams are sitting at 7-under for the tournament, including local member Tim Vigotsky (Palm City, Fla.) and his partner Tony Green (Kingsport, Tenn.).  Also at 7-under are the teams of Neil Spitalny (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and Tom Baird (Signal Mtn., Tenn.) as well as Steve Walczak (Greenville, Del.) and Mark Baxter (Tequesta, Fla.).  Walczak & Baxter had the low round of the day with a 6-under 66.  The final round gets underway on Thursday with a Shotgun Start at 8:30 a.m.
