Strawn finished in a tie for fourth place alongside SOS members Stan Humphries and Dennis Martin. Humphries’ final round of 71 tied for the low round of the day, while Martin shot 72.

Also making the cut to the final day were members Jon Lindstrom (T9th), Chip Lutz (11th), Randy Haag (T20), Paul Simson (T23), Lee Porter & Jerry Slagle (T26), and Jack Hall (34th). Brent Paterson of New Zealand won the championship by five strokes over John Kemp of Woburn.
